Purpose of the General Data Protection Concept of UZH

The General Data Protection Concept of UZH shall be submitted to a data controller in case that UZH acts as a data processor.

With the General Data Protection Concept of UZH the data controller upon his request is shown which basic data protection requirements apply to the processing of personal data at UZH, and how these are put into practice.

Who is responsible for data processing?

The general data protection concept has been drafted for all cases in which UZH is the processor, i.e. when a contracting third party (controller) hands data over to UZH for processing.

 

The contract framework has been drafted for all situations in which the responsible researchers or UZH are deemed to be the controller. The third party involved in processing the data is called the processor.
